19 year old in 7th Grade

So after being out of school for almost 3 years, and working for a year, I must say I really did miss High school and back to high school I went. I was told to go to Deped (Department of Education) central office at Meralco Ave. to take a placement exam called the Philippine Educational Placement Test or PEPT, that way I can enter the formal schooling scene again. I dropped out of school before I could finish the first year of high school, so this time I was eager to continue my studies. I registered for the exam and was scheduled to take it the following week. Okay I regret nothing, so I confess that I failed the exam because I flunked one subject, and can you guess what subject that is? Huhhhh its Filipino! That was kind of surprising, I thought I was going to fail Math or Science, because you know, it's Math, but damn I couldn't believe that I failed the easiest subject! I used to mock the subject coz it was so freaking easy, and then this happens. But okay as I said, I regret nothing, now I know not to underestimate a subject or be overconfident over something that can screw me up. Come to think of it, maybe this was exactly what I needed, maybe it was fate that bought me to that school; to that classroom, because if I wasn't, then I wouldn't have met these people...

It's Not Always More Fun In The Philippines

Tourism always makes our country look awesome, when they promote our country, it's always about parties, bars, beaches and whatever, don't get me wrong, I'm aware that our country's tourism is one of the factors that's making our economy better, specially that "It's More Fun In The Philippines" campaign. But on the other side of that beautiful image that our country has, we still have poverty, corruption and the goddamn traffic here, specially here in Manila. Now why am I suddenly bringing this up? Well I came across this video on my Facebook's news feed and after watching it, I had more respect for our country's jeepney drivers, I used to despise them since I commute to get around, and most of them are just plain rude, law evading jackasses, of course not all of them are like this. so to cut this short, here's the video i've been babbling about, it's quite long but let me assure you it's worth your while :)

Old School

Lately I've been enjoying old songs, and what better way to get that nostalgic feeling than listening to old school radio? the popularity of radio had been diminishing due to the ever so useful and hip Ipods and mp3 players. Why listen to the radio when you can put your ipods on shuffle and still get the same surprise and having the option of skipping songs you may ask?
But the thing about the radio is that it's so unpredictable, it gives some sort of thrill when you don't know what song is going to play next, and sometimes it even surprises you with songs that you already forgot, imagine that nostalgic you'll get feeling when suddenly a Spice Girls song plays! ( I used to be a Spice Girls fan! lol) . so if one of these days you feel like listening to the radio, nowadays there are online streaming options so you can't miss out. visit Eradioportal's website and get swept away! . I always listen to 96.3 Easy Rock coz I like chillin to old song that i used to jam to!

Ola!

I have always tried to set up a stable blog, and believe me I really TRIED, but eventually I stopped posting due to school work and you know LIFE. but now i'm really back (I think) harhar. anyway a lot of things happened lately and i got to try new stuff that i've dying to do, like hiking and etc... more on that later. maybe the reason I stopped blogging was because I had nothing to blog about, the first blog I tried to establish was about the adventures I have with my 2 besties. but of course, we don't get to go to adventures all the time, so when we all got busy with our own lives and dilemmas, i stopped. Then i tried blogging about random stuff I do. and of course, that too got neglected and eventually I stopped trying. Now that i've got stories and adventures to share, I think it's time to start blogging again. so here goes nothing!
